Give me one example of the following that is currently on sale :
A FWD, 2-door vehicle from an American Automaker.
A crossover with over 200hp for less than $30k.
A naturally aspirated BMW. * edit: passenger car, to make this harder *.
Those outside of the US, feel free to convert that horsepower figure and currency to match your market.

1. Buick Cascada
2. Forester 2.0 XT (for $29,195)
3. BMW r9t

2015 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Premium. 250HP Crossover for $29,195.

Edit: Nope the Z4 got a turbo.
The range extender for the i3 is N/A.

Since 1&2 were taken, 3. BMW i3
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:16 |

1. No idea
2. no idea
3. Wanna buy my 1 series, it’s NA
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:16 |

1. Cadillac ELR.
2. I’m guessing there’s some Acura that fits this.
3. BMW would have to be an SUV or something.

That BMW question might be too easy with bikes, I’ll have to edit it to just passenger cars. Awesome job though!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:19 |

The ELR is dead.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:19 |
|
#2 has an option that hasn’t been mentioned yet.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:20 |

Bravo on the ELR!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:21 |
|
They stopped making the ELR in February
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:22 |
|
Production stopped in February but the ELR is still on sale and on Cadillac’s site to build.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:22 |

June RS? Maybe an Escape with the 2.0 Ecoboost? Or a turbo Sportage?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:22 |

Most people probably wouldn’t think of bikes, though. Would you count an i3 as naturally aspirated with the range extended model, or does it not count due to the electric motor/gas motor combo?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:23 |
|
1: Cadillac ELR (I know it’s dead, but)
2: Nissan Juke Nismo RS
3: BMW M3?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:23 |
|
It was this year. There’s probably still plenty sitting around on dealer lots.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:24 |

But it was this year, so there’s still probably some on dealer lots.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:24 |
|
Was there even another option?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:24 |

You did not specify the american FWD 2 door had to be sold in america so heres the 2 door fiesta the lucky people in europe get.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:24 |
|
I don’t believe the 35i variants do. They should still be running the NA V6. I’ll actually have to look that one up. I was 90% sure though like you. *Nope, you called it. I guess there really is only one BMW car with an NA engine now.*
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:24 |

Cascada
Sportage SX
BMW i3 REx
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:25 |
|
For #2,
Juke Nismo RS
?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:25 |
|
A VW Tiguan for #2? 200hp on the dot, starting at $24,890.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:27 |
|
1.) Buick Cascada. Yes, it’s a German import, but it has a Buick badge on it in the US and that’s should be enough to qualify it as ‘Murican.
2.) Nissan Juke Nismo RS, starting MSRP of 28,020$ before options, taxes, and whatnot for 215 hp.
3.) I got nothing.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:28 |

I thought that had around 190.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:28 |
|
Yup. No BMWs with a N/A engine driving the wheels.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:28 |
|
Haz engine, haz vote!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:29 |

Ooo, pick one of those two and you’ve got it! 50/50 chance, go for it!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:29 |

I'm an idiot. There was that buick cascade thing.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:29 |

Fiat 500 (Chrysler)
Dodge Journey
Mini Cooper base model, and also the i3
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:31 |
|
I think the SX is outside of the price range, but awesome answer!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:32 |
|
THANK YOU for getting the Juke! I didn’t think anyone would catch that guy.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:34 |
|
Bravo on the Dodge Journey, which may be the most powerful SUV you can buy for under $30k (I’ll have to double check that, I can’t look these up or else it’s cheating).
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:34 |
|
Sounds like a winner to me then!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:36 |
|
Not if you go for the 2016!
And this is on their US website, too.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:37 |
|
It’s around 25k, probably the cheapest crossover with 200+ hp as well.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:37 |
|
*tears...* It’s getting hard to find an NA BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar. I’m not sure if some of these brands have more than two left if any.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:37 |
|
1. Cadillac ELR
2. Kia Sorento LX V6 ($28,990, 290hp!)
3. There’s only the i3 with the range extender, right?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:38 |
|
Ford should sell the 2-door Fiesta over here instead of the lame-ass sedan. Offer the Fiesta as a 2- and 4-door hatchback :)
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:38 |
|
Lol, awesome! You won me over with that barely within the rules win!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:39 |
|
I dunno.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:40 |
|
1. Can’t think of any for sale in America, but Europe gets a 2 door Fiesta.
EDIT: Shoot, how did I forget the Cascada?
2. Subaru Forester XT
3. I believe there are none unless you count the i3 REx.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:41 |
|
On the #3, it looks like it is just the i3 (I thought the Z4 35i would have been, but I guess not). I like there to be at least two choices on these things, but oh well...Bravo on that Sorento, exceeded my expectations by quite a bit!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:41 |
|
But you can’t build a new ELR to order, you have to chose from remaining dealer stock. The car is dead, and the ones that are left will probably be sold at a (bigger than usual) loss just to get them off the lot.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:41 |
|
Juke RS.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:44 |
|
I also didn’t realize that the Z4 is turbo-only now! And yeah, the Sorento is a hell of a package.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:44 |
|
Still a neat car though.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:47 |
|
That’s true! I’m still going to count that as part of the “F1 rule manipulation clause.” If it is still on the official sites then I count them as one sale. The 2016 Kia Sportage is another example. Points for clever!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:59 |
|
1. Buick Cascada
2. Subaru Forester XT Premium $29,000 250 hp
3. Would an I3 count?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 19:59 |
|
I have the best answers because nobody else said them!
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:00 |
|
1. Hatchbacks count right? Chevrolet Spark - 1.4L ECOTEC with 5spd manual or CVT.
2. VW Tiguan - 200hp 6spd manual for $24,990 CAD. The Subaru Forester would have been my choice but went over by $4000 CAD. This category seems to favour 180hp as seen in the CRV, Rogue, CX5
3. Do the i3/i8 count? If not, then I give up.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:15 |
|
The Spark has four doors. Only the i3 is NA; the i8 is turbo.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:18 |
|
Years ago, I really hoped the turbo motor and manual would be available with AWD...sadly that hasn’t been the case or else I’d be looking at one as a DD instead of the Mazda3 and Scion iM.
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:29 |
|
2. How about 271 hp for $26,000?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:42 |
|
V6? You sure about that?
![]() 05/23/2016 at 20:51 |
|
Of course, BMW is famous for its port-injected V6s.
![]() 05/24/2016 at 20:26 |

I suddenly have the urge to build a Sorrento sleeper...
